About Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic

Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic is a full service veterinary hospital bordering Middlesex and Bound Brook, New Jersey. For over 60 years we have been committed to providing high quality medical, surgical and dental care for your pets.

Ward Randall, DVM

A life long resident of New Jersey, Dr. Randall grew up in Florham Park. He attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Randall returned to NJ and started as an associate veterinarian at the Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic. He went on to become a partner and then later became the owner.

Dr. Randall knew that he wanted to become a veterinarian since the third grade. He loves helping people and their pets. He has a special interest in soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Randall lives in Bridgewater with his wife, Madelyn. They have two children, Katie and Michael who are both Penn State University graduates. The other love of his life is Saki, a shorkie (shitzu-yorkie mix).In his spare time, Dr. Randall enjoys golf, swimming and relaxing at the Jersey Shore.

David Schroepfer, DVM

A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Schroepfer received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin. While attending veterinary school he was on the Dean’s List and inducted into the Veterinary Honor Society of Phi Zeta.

He worked at several veterinary hospitals before starting with the Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian. Although Dr. Schroepfer enjoys all areas of companion animal medicine, his area of special interest is ophthalmology.

When not working, Dr. Schroepfer can usually be found riding his horse, Matlock, and enjoying the many scenic areas of northwestern New Jersey. At home, he enjoys the companionship of his two dogs, Jake and Bugsy.

Ana Amato, DVM

Growing up in Lima, Peru, Dr. Amato always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian because of the special bond she had with animals.

Dr. Amato moved to the US when she was 21 years old.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University and worked as a veterinary technician at the Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic.  She left New Jersey to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian and continued her education at Colorado State University-College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2013.  Following graduation she returned to New Jersey and worked in general practice as well as emergency medicine for several years before rejoining the Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic.

Although she loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, emergency medicine and dentistry are among her special interests.

Dr. Amato and her two daughters share their home with two dogs, Blue and V, and two cats, Buju and Fenriz. In her spare time, Dr. Amato enjoys traveling with her family, scuba diving and rollerblading.
